Reads the Y component of a channel from a file in EDAS format.

Syntax

ReadEDASFileY(File, ChannelNumber)

 

The syntax of the ReadEDASFileY function consists of the following parts:

File

String with the path of the EDAS file to be read.

Permitted data structures are scalar value. Supported data types are string (file name).

ChannelNumber

Number of the channel to be read out of the file. The channels are numbered starting with 0.

Permitted data structures are scalar value. All integral data types are permitted.

The value must be greater or equal to 0.

Remarks

If the argument is a list, then the function is executed for each element of the list and the result is also a list.

Examples

Signal((ReadEDASFileY("c:\\examples\\file.dat", 0), ReadEDASFileX("c:\\examples\\file.dat", 0))

Imports the X and Y component of the first channel from an EDAS file and generates a signal from that. The X component provides the time in seconds since the start of the measurement.
