AssignedX Property (FPScript)

Read access to the name of the data object assigned as the X component.

Syntax

[DataObject].AssignedX

The syntax of the AssignedX property consists of the following elements:

DataObject

Optional. The data object being accessed. If you omit this element, then the current formula is accessed. In the case of embedded FPScript you have to use the This keyword.

Remarks

Write access to the header information of a data object is only allowed for the formula where the FPScript code is located. You should only use this option in embedded FPScript. For standard formula objects, you should edit the attribute on theGeneral tab of the Properties dialog box instead.

Examples

$.AssignedX$[-1n]

Accesses the last value of the data set which is assigned to the current formula as an X data set.

$"\Folder\" : \Folder\DataSet.AssignedX$

Returns the value of the data set assigned as an X data set to a data set located in a folder other than the current formula.
