To determine the folder for temporary files, FlexPro checks for the existence of environment variables in the following order and uses the first path found:

    1. The path specified by the TMP environment variable.
    2. The path specified by the TEMP environment variable, if TMP is not defined.
    3. The path specified by the USERPROFILE environment variable.

Under Windows Me/98 the behaviour is as follows:

    1. The path specified by the TMP environment variable.
    2. The path specified by the TEMP environment variable, if TMP is not defined or if TMP specifies a directory that does not exist.
    3. The current directory, if both TMP and TEMP are not defined or specify nonexistent directories.

You can set up and change environment variables with the System applet on the Windows Control Panel.
