3D approximation

Hello,

im a new FlexPro User and don’t have any experience with the software. Is it possible to make a 3D approximation like z=f(x;y)? Im using FlexPro 8 Standard with the options Acoustics, Order Tracking and Advanced Statistics. Or do i need an other additional option for this?

Unfortunately, this is not possible.
FlexPro only supports linear and nonlinear curve fitting for 2D curves but not for surfaces.
With the FPScript-function [b]NonLinCurveFit[/b] you have the possibility to define your own userdefined models.

Example: You have three data series x,y,z and you want to approximate the data series z with following function:
f(z) = f(x,y) = a * x + b * y
