    Hello,

    Our technical service has reformatted the hard disk of 3 computers, thus loosing the license.

    Before reformatting the disk, our technical service made a backup of each hard disk.

    Is it possible to restore the license using this backup, copying on or more files ?

    Will I need to re-activate the license on Internet thus loosing thus one activation.

    First of all we are using a third party license management system. So we basically do not know how it is working.
    Thus we can only assume that, unless you haven’t made an image backup of your hard drive and restore it completely to the same hard drive again, it is unlikely that you can restore the license information.
    If the license information is lost you need to activate again. Cases like this are actually the reason why we allow up to three activations for desktop licenses.
