Analyzing and Presenting Excel Data
You can also analyze or present cell ranges directly by creating a FlexPro analysis object, a diagram or a table. FlexPro then creates the necessary Excel data links in an intermediate step:
1.Select a cell range in the Excel workbook with data that you would like to analyze or visualize. If above the data there is a title row with column names and, if applicable, attached physical units, you should include this row into the selection.
2.On the Insert tab of the FlexPro ribbon, select the type for the newly created object.
3.A dialog box appears where you can specify how the Excel data links are to be created.
4.Check all settings and request further help in the dialog box, if necessary.
5.Confirm with OK. An object of the type selected is created in the folder displayed and, if necessary, a wizard will appear first to assist you in setting the object properties.
