We process a lot of data from our sensors to develop the optimal algorithms to ensure the best possible accuracy of our flow meters. FlexPro allows us to continuously collect and mathematically process the data. In addition, the data and results can be displayed graphically to complete the task with a report presentation. In our work, documentation and detail are paramount and FlexPro is an invaluable tool for this task. We have been using FlexPro for many years and in that time the product has been continually improved and kept up to date with the latest technology. We were amazed at how easily we were able to process the data with FlexPro
For my dissertation on the dynamic properties of rocks, I worked together with Professor William Hustruild from the University of Utah. He has been working in this field since the 1970s. We used a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) to test the rock samples. We recorded the measured data with a high-speed system. But data acquisition was only part of the problem - the other part was data reduction. Dr. Hustruild and I were amazed at how easily we were able to process the data with FlexPro. FlexPro is now our primary tool for reducing SHPB data.

And for tricky tasks, the complete integration of FlexPro objects in Visual Basic for Applications is the innovation par excellence. Programming works just like Excel or Word, and very quickly, even with large amounts of data. The results can then be further processed and displayed in FlexPro like measurement channels.

By opting for FlexPro, the development effort for evaluating the simulation data from the network calculations was significantly reduced. In particular, the combination of the strengths of VBA and the formula language FPScript resulted in a reduction of the programming effort to a minimum.
