Following the successful delivery of a condition monitoring system for a pilot plant for gas compression on the seabed to the Norwegian oil industry, Weisang receives a major order for the development and construction of such a system for the Åsgard oil field in Norway.

For my dissertation on the dynamic properties of rocks, I worked together with Professor William Hustruild from the University of Utah. He has been working in this field since the 1970s. We used a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) to test the rock samples. We recorded the measured data with a high-speed system. But data acquisition was only part of the problem - the other part was data reduction. Dr. Hustruild and I were amazed at how easily we were able to process the data with FlexPro. FlexPro is now our primary tool for reducing SHPB data.
