Single-User License
When installing FlexPro, an evaluation license is installed on your computer, which gives you 30 days from the first day you launch FlexPro to try it out. You will need to activate the license as soon as the evaluation period expires in order to continue using FlexPro. Activation will permanently bind the purchased single user license to the computer. To activate the license, use the product key supplied with FlexPro. This will allow you to activate the software for personal use up to three times. For instance, you can install and activate FlexPro on your desktop computer and on a laptop and then save the third activation in case you decide to replace your computer. You can activate FlexPro online by communicating directly with the Weisang activation server, or you can activate it offline by swapping files.
Network License
A network license is usually installed on a server by the network administrator and limits the number of concurrent users. FlexPro itself can be installed on any number of workstations on the network. When launching FlexPro, the license is requested from the server, and when you close FlexPro, the license is then available once more to other users. If you have set up FlexPro for use with a network license, the computer must be connected to this server for as long as FlexPro is running. If you would like to work without a network connection, you can check out a network license, which is then transferred to your local computer and is valid for up to 30 days. After the selected time runs out, the local license automatically expires and the blocked network license is unblocked and available for use.
Runtime License
Use the FlexPro runtime license to execute your applications created using FlexPro Professional on a computer that doesn’t have a full FlexPro development license installed. You will need one runtime license for each installation of your application. FlexPro Professional already includes three runtime licenses. With the FlexPro runtime license, users can work with predefined analyses, measure curves with cursors and run predefined macros. The objects in the FlexPro database, however, cannot be modified via the user interface.
FlexPro Maintenance
If you regularly use FlexPro, we recommend FlexPro Maintenance, which offers you the following advantages:
- Free product support via e-mail or telephone - from installation onward.
- Free updates*, which means that you will always be working with the most current version. This also applies to major version numbers such as updating from version 8 to 9.
- Free download of maintenance packs. Maintenance packs are software updates for a particular version of the software and, in addition to bug fixes, contain new features such as import filters or analysis functions.
FlexPro maintenance is available for all licenses. The annual price for the maintenance is 25 % of the price of the software license. If you order maintenance together with a license, then a reduced rate of 20 % applies for the first year.
* The maintenance agreement entitles you to a free update to the next major software release only if you have continually maintained the agreement for your license. If you purchase maintenance for an existing license at a later date, the maintenance agreement entitles you to update to the next major software release only after a period of at least one year has passed.

The price is calculated for each year in advance. The contract is not extended automatically, which means that you do not have to watch out for payment notices. Shortly before the contract period ends, you will receive an offer from us to extend the subscription. We will bill you for another year only with your permission.
